Better Trailer, Better Sales?

We honestly can’t think of a Marvel Studios trailer that was as negatively received as the She-Hulk trailer that dropped back in May. The VFX were widely panned, fans questioned the portrayal of favored old school villains, and nobody seemed happy about more Smart Hulk.

Enter last weekend’s SDCC trailer.

We wouldn’t call it a 18O degree turn, but Marvel was definitely able to change the narrative.

Did the new and improved trailer actually affect key comic sales?

Based on our @covrprice data, Shulkie was neither helped nor hurt by it. Titania took a hit. Abomination and Wrecking Crew (🤔?!?) actually benefitted from it.

What do you think?

In the long run, will any of these characters’ first appearances actually be affected by She-Hulk: Attorney at Law? Let us know in the comments!
